Janice Kessler, formerly Vice President at TNS Healthcare, has more than 16 years of market research experience, including both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Prior to joining TNS, Janice was an Account Executive with Migliara Kaplan Associates, where she concentrated in the following therapeutic areas: nephrology, oncology, inflammation, cardiovascular, respiratory, diabetes, neurology, dermatology and pain management (both pharmacologic and medical device).

Janice’s previous market research experience with Intersearch Corporation’s Health Sciences Group included specializing in oncology, transplant immunosuppression, anemia, anti-psychotics, epilepsy, dementia, anti-depressants, gastroenterology, and gastrointestinal therapies. In addition, Janice marketed healthcare conferences targeted to pharmaceutical professionals for Parexel International and sold managed care health plan options for U.S. Healthcare.

Janice received her Master of Arts degree from Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater, specializing in Mass Media and Communication Research.




Jeremy Smith, Research Manager/Moderator with JK Market Research, has conducted both qualitative and quantitative research in pharmaceutical products involving medical professionals and consumers.

Jeremy has worked in a variety of therapeutic categories including ADHD, arthritis, bipolar disorder, COPD, hypertension, immunology, infertility, neurology, infectious diseases, and hypothyroidism. Jeremy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communication from Elizabethtown College.




Dorothy Long, Research Manager/Senior Moderator, has been in pharmaceutical marketing research for over six years. In that time she has performed marketing research in various disease states such as Cardiovascular (Hypertension, Hypotension, Atrial Fibrillation, Coronary Artery Disease/Peripheral Vascular Disease, Myocardial Infarction etc), Diabetes (type 1 and 2, orals and insulin), Kidney disease, Oncology (colorectal cancer), Pulmonary disease (COPD), Osteoporosis, Renal Disease, as well as other conditions.

In addition, Dorothy has expertise in various methodologies including market landscape research, collage exercise, benefit laddering, concept/sales aid testing, referral and treatment patterns, cocktail party, IDEA research (attribute and level testing), platform positioning research, message testing, clinical trial evaluation, new product formulary evaluation as well as other research techniques. Dorothy has her Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, MD.




Sherry Danese, Research Manager/Senior Moderator has 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Her experience spans marketing, market research and commercialization strategy for pipeline and in-line products.

She was an Associate Director of Marketing at Amgen and a Vice President with Migliara/Kaplan Associates, an NFO company, where she designed and executed customized primary qualitative and quantitative market research programs. Sherry also spent several years at DDMAC at the FDA regulating the pharmaceutical industry as well as several years with Eli Lilly and Company in sales. Sherry earned an M.B.A. from The Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. She received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.
